2.To summarise the simple future tense. Step 2　Read and Summarise 1.Read the sentences from the reading passage. 2.Summarise the grammar rules of the simple future tense. Observe the rules summarised by the students and judge what the students know and don’t know about the simple future tense.
Purpose To guide students to discover grammar rules and explore the meaning of grammar, so as to pave the way for the following grammar exercises.
3.To practise the simple future tense in a real-life context. Step 3　Exercise 1.Complete the sentences with the simple future tense. 2.Complete the guide’s words using the correct form of the words in the boxes. Evaluate the students’ mastery of the simple future tense from the completion of the exercises.
Purpose To guide students to internalise the new knowledge, and inspire them to think and explore the deep meaning of the text.
4.To make a plan for Planting Day. Step 4　Pair-work 1.First study the example. 2.Describe the importance of plants. 3.Write things to do on Planting Day. 4.Show your plan to the class. Focus on students’ presentations to see if the target language is covered, and the teacher gives the necessary guidance and feedback according to the situation.
Purpose To guide students to do things in the language they learn and promote migration and innovation.
Homework Required: Finish the exercises in your book. Optional: Finish the group work—My plan for Planting Day.
