Step 2 Pre-listening Brainstorm: What other animals do you know work for people Summarise: Working animals are great helpers to humans. Assess students’ comprehension of present continuous tense by their accurate description of the actions in the pictures using the tense. Further, evaluate their creativity and grammatical flexibility in transforming those sentences to illustrate how animals work for humans, considering their ability to convey ideas effectively and correctly. Assess the variety and relevance of animals they mention that work for people, as well as their ability to articulate the roles these animals play concisely and accurately.Purpose Encourage students use descriptive language about animal behaviours, think on animal-human relationships and emphasise the utility of working animals.2.To use listening strategy to prepare for listening. Further, evaluate their ability to interpret illustrations related to the listening material and apply listening strategies, such as extracting key information from instructions, demonstrating active engagement and clear understanding.
