Step 2 What are there on the farm Look and say ( animals): chicken, dog, sheep, cow, ... Check your memories now: ---- What’s this/ that ---- It’s... Look and say (plants): tomato, potato, tree, flower, ... Check your memories again( animals and plants): ---- What’s this/ that ---- It’s... ---- What are these/ those ---- They’re ... Step 3 How many plants and animals are there on the farm Learn and review the words about numbers from 1 to 19. Learn to express the number of plants and animals on the farm by using “ How many” questions. Step 4 Listen to and learn something on Fu Xing’s farm. Fu Xing invites Peter and Helen to come to her grandparents’ yard to visit. Look at the picture in 1a, and match the animals with their names. Listen to the conversations carefully and tick the correct answers.
