教学目标
在本课学习结束时,学生能够: 1.理解文章对三幅名画的描述,并清晰文章结构。 2.了解人们对艺术品及其作者的评价。 3.找出三幅画中的共同之处并且说出自己的观点。 4.能运用清晰的语言介绍这三幅作品,培养欣赏绘画的能力。
教学重难点
【主题意义】 本课是北师大版新教材高一英语必修第三册第7单元“Art”中的阅读课,语篇介绍三幅 世界名画:《星空》《呐喊》《灯之王国》,属于“人与社会”主题语境中的“文学、艺术与体 育”范畴里的“绘画建筑等领域的代表性作品和人物”主题内容。其主题意义在于让学生学 会从不同的角度鉴赏绘画艺术,包括创作背景创作灵感等;培养跨文化意识,领悟世界文化 的多样性和丰富性,汲取优秀文化。 【教学重点】: 1.帮助学生读懂细节信息并能理解阅读中生词含义。 2.引导学生通过回忆给描述绘画的短语分类,并用这些短语介绍作品。 3.引导学生从赏析西方名画到赏析中国名画,增强学生的文化自信。 【教学难点】: 1.引导学生对比找出三幅画的共同之处和总结出作品背后深层次的含义。 2.帮助学生用本节课所学内容介绍作品。
教学过程
Step 1.Lead-in Show a VR video of a painting and lead to the topic. 设计意图:利用一段VR视屏引起同学们的兴趣,激发同学们热情和参与课堂的积极性。 Step 2.Activate and Share Ask students to watch the three paintings and use the phrases provided to describe them. 设计意图:学生根据三幅绘画及提供的短语,基于已知,简单地对三幅绘画作出描述。教师 通过邀请一位AI学生回答问题,给其他同学作出示范。通过表达训练,也可以锻炼学生口语 能力和思维灵活性。 Step 3.Read and explore 1.Ask students to read the descriptions of the three paintings and try to finish the two tasks 1).Underline the name of each painting and its artist. 2).Find out what each painting is about. 设计意图:通过泛读初步了解三幅名画的基本信息,锻炼学生对文章表层含义理解,养成良 好的阅读习惯。 2.Ask students to read the three descriptions again.Use the diagram below to take notes.

设计意图:通过精读,有助于学生深层次把握文章细节信息,了解人们对艺术品及其作者的 评价。引导学生获取梳理和整合关键信息并使信息结构化,促进学生对关键信息的理解、把 握和内化。 3.Pair Work 1).Instruct the students to scan the descriptions of the three paintings and sort the expressions into the correct columns.

1.Tell students to suppose they are a volunteer at an art exhibition and introduce one of the three paintings to the visitors. 2.Show some sentence patterns to help students introduce masterpieces and ask them to work with their group members. 3.Show them an example.(Ask an AI student to make an introduction.) 4.Ask them to be the volunteer and introduce the painting. sentence patterns: Good morning,Ladies and gentlemen.I'm ..,I'm so honoured to give you an introduction of the famous painting ..painted by ...The painting shows ...He was affected by /inspired by ...The artist said ..In my opinion,...shows the emotion of..,because ...All of these give me the impression of... 设计意图:通过设定人物身份,帮助学生理论联系实际。老师自己制作AI人物,模拟实际场 景给学生作出示范。这可以在情境中让学生巩固、运用和内化语言,培养学生对艺术作品进 行描述、介绍的能力以及深层次赏析艺术作品的能力。 Step 6.Summary 1.Summarize what we have learnt in this class. 2.Appreciate some traditional Chinese paintings and tell students to boost confidence in Chinese culture and art. 设计意图:总结本节课所学,清晰了解文章脉络并且由西方绘画引导学生赏析中国画,让学 生认识到中国文化博大精深,增强文化自信。 Step 7.Homework 1.Visit https:///mhxs and appreciate some traditional Chinese paintings.Try to introduce one painting to your classmates. 2.Draw a mind map to conclude what you learnt. 设计意图:巩固所学,紧扣单元主题,督促学生通过复习、建构所学知识,内化所学内容。
