教学内容
教学重点: Master the relevant words and expressions; Master the the usage of the conjunctions “and” “but” and “because”; Clearly tell their favourite subjects and can be able to express the reasons in the right way. 教学难点: 1. Master the the usage of the conjunctions “and” “but” and “because”; 2. analyze the two students’ ways of expressing their favourite subjects and can make students be able to express their own favourite subjects.
教学过程
Step 1:Lead-in Show pictures of different cartoon characters we are familiar with and give questions: If they were in real life, what subject do you think they would teach at school Guide the students to say some words about subjects. Step 2: Pre-reading Complete the section B, 1a. and make sure the spellings are all correct and check the answers. Step 3: while-reading Fast reading Let students understand the meaning of the text generally by fast reading; Complete the 1b questions and underline all the school subjects each students have, and then check the answers. Emphasize the relevant words again and make sure all the students can plete 1d Q1: What subject do Mike and Binbin both have B.careful reading 1.Read the Para.1 and complete the mind map below. Pay attention to the conjunctions in this para, “and” and “because” and retell the para.by using the conjunctions and the mind map above; Complete the 1d Q2 :How does Mike feel about music Read the Para.2 carefully and then fill in the correct words or phrases in the text below. 5 5. complete the 1d Q3: What does Binbin learn in his maths class 6 6.use “because”, “and” or “but” to retell the reason why Binbin likes Maths best Step 4: Post-reading pay attention to the key phrases and expressions and fully understand their meanings; Complete 1d Q4: Do you like music or maths Why What do you want to be in the future Further thinking:Discuss in groups about your favourite subjects and why Step 5:Homework Exercises for words and phrases; Writing: write a short passage about your school subjects and your favourite one by using the conjunctions and the expressions we have learned today.
