【What】本板块为读写结合板块,主题是“写一篇演讲稿”,话题是讲述音乐怎样影响人生。 【Why】 以读促写的目的是教学生如何写演讲稿,本单元的主题是能让人轻松愉悦、澎湃激 昂、奋发向上并产生情感共鸣的话题-音乐。因此,选择和音乐相关的一篇演讲稿,为学生 提供写作参考模板,把读和写结合起来,能够帮助学生更好地解读文本,内化演讲稿的独特 的组织结构特征和语言特征,并指导学生写出以“音乐怎样影响人生”为话题的生动感人的 演讲稿,了解美好的音乐不仅能够陶冶情操,还可以疗伤治病。
【How】 本节读写结合课的设计思路是“文本内容理解-文本结构和语言特征分析-写作情境 设置一完成写作任务一展示写作成果”。第一部分是阅读,属于语言输入部分。这篇演讲稿 是Sarah Williams的故事分享,学生能够从中了解音乐如何帮助人们,而人们又能如何从音 乐体验中得到收获。该文本用到的修辞手法 (rhetorical device) 有设问、引用、明喻、暗喻、 重复、拟人等,具有典型的演讲稿的组织结构特征和语言特征。在问题链的引导下,从解读 演讲稿内容、提取文本结构和修辞手法再到学生自己写作,各项任务让学生的思维得到锻炼, 从浅层次活动逐步向深层次活动靠近。

学完本课后,学生能够:
1.读懂演讲稿文本,掌握相关的单词和词块,了解音乐如何帮助主人公战胜病魔,体会演 讲文本所传递的信息和情感,分析和把握演讲稿的语言特征,并关注常见修辞手法在表达中 的重要作用。
2.通过对音乐作用的了解,感受音乐带给人们的积极影响,感悟音乐的魅力,并培养对优 秀音乐作品的鉴赏能力和理解认同能力,提升自身的文化内涵和传播优秀文化的能力。
3. 将演讲稿的结构特征和语言特征内化,灵活运用各种修辞手法,创造出一篇有感染力的 演讲稿。

(2)Ask students to learn about rhetorical devices.
①Rhetorical question(设问):It is a question that isn't meant to get an answer,but is asked to make a point
②Personification(拟人):It is when a thing,an idea or an animal is given human features.
③Quote(引用):To quote is to repeat a short passage,word, phrase,or sentence that came from somewhere or someone else.
④Repetition(重复):It refers to the use of the same word or phrase in a poem,a speech,etc.
⑤Simile (明喻): A simile compares two things by using words such as“like”or“as”.
⑥Metaphor (暗喻): It is a way of describing something by referring to itas something different and suggesting that it has similar qualities to that thing.Unlike simile,we don't use“like”or“as” in the comparison.

Hello!My name is Li Hua,and I feel it a great honour to share my views on the benefits of music. Have you ever gone through some periods when you feel very depressed Two years ago,my best friend was killed in a traffic accident.Realising that she was gone forever made me so sad that I felt I was surrounded by an ocean of sadness.I did not know how to face my life.
