Step 2 Fast-reading 1.Instruct students to look at the title “Racing together” and the pictures, and then answer questions like “What is the story about ” and “What can you see What are they doing ” 2.Discuss the relationship between the two boys and the main theme of the story based on the visual and textual cues. Assess whether students can accurately describe the pictures and initiate a discussion about family relationships and emotions by observing their responses and the depth of their descriptions.
