Purpose By creating such situations, students are eager to learn, because it is closely related to their daily life.
2.To categorise the rules of there be. Step 2　Grammar Focus 1.Read the sentences from the reading passage and find one more sentence with this structure in the reading passage. ◎Key: There is an art festival every autumn in my school. 2.Through the table clearly showing the changes in the number of students’ hobby groups last year and this year, the teacher shows an example: There are 45 students in my class. Last year, there were 15 students in the reading group. But this year, there are 18 students in the reading group. 3.Students make more sentences with this structure, e.g.: Last year, there were 9 students in the skating group.
