单元教学分析 学情分析:研究选取的实验班同学处在高中第一学期,已具备一定的英语学习基础,基本能区分语篇中的主要事实和观点,并根据课本内容进行概括,但大多数同学对于语篇之间的关联以及在知识整合方面尚有欠缺。 单元内容分析:本单元要求学生了解濒临灭绝动物的基本知识,并通过了解关动物迁徙、探讨动与人类的关系、制作保护动物的海报等任务进一步探索人与动物之间的关系,提高保护动物的意识。整个单元属于“人与自然“的总主题群,帮助学生树立保护动物意识,引发学生保护思考保护动物的意义。
单元教学目标 1.Linguistic Competence (1) How to use and master Attributive clauses. (2) Understand texts about animals, listen to and talk about animal-related topics, use newly learnt language to talk briefly about animals. (3) Develop an argument around a topic, use determiners appropriately to describe animals in the natural world, and create a file for an animal. 2.Cultural Awareness (1) It is possible to recognize the harmony between human and the animal and form the right value which protects the ecosystem. (2) Be able to learn about the role of animals in cultural exchanges. and strengthen cultural confidence. 3.Thinking Quality (1) Ability to logically and methodically summarize information and logical relationships in debate. (2) It is possible to think about the relation between human and the animal,to inherit the knowledge and thinking quality. 4.Learning Ability (1) Be able to stimulate interest by learning about the relationship between humans and animals (2) Be able to choose appropriate strategies and methods to monitor, evaluate, and organize unit lessons, and to reflect on and adapt their own learning content.
课时教学目标 Period 1 Listening and Speaking 1.master the tips of listening--listen to the keywords. 2.know the relationships between people and animals. Period 2 Reading and Thinking 1.learn some knowledge about the migration of animals. 2.work out the main idea about the passage. 3. use the word or phrase to explain animal migration route. Period 3 Discovering Useful Structures 1. analyze how attributive clauses are used in the text. 2. apply sentence pattern when writing about relationships between people and animals. Period 4 Listening and Talking 1. practice listening tips--listen for keywords. 2.discuss with a partner to make animal protection tips. Period 5 Reading for Writing 1. find out about the route about butterflies from a brief introduction. 2. apply what they have learnt in class to write a poster about animal protection.
