My time here in China is going well. I love my new school and classmates. Over the October holiday, my parents and I are planning to go to Xi’an to see the Terracotta Army. I’ve heard that it is an amazing sight，and I can’t wait to go. To me, the story of the Terracotta Army is almost unbelievable. It’s amazing that there are more than 8000 statues, and no one in modern times knew about them until the 1970s.

Dear Richard,
My time in England is going wonderfully！My new school is amazing,and all the teachers and classmates are so friendly. Over the Christmas holiday,my parents and I are going to London to see the Tower of London.
This is the old castle（城堡）that the king used to live in. Later,it was used as a prison for people who angered the king. It's also where the marvellous Crown Jewels are located. I just can't wait to see it.It has such an incredible history and there are so many amazing stories connected with it. We're also planning on seeing Big Ben, Westminster Abbey,and the Millennium Bridge while we are there, and of course we're going to ride on the London Eye! I think my mother is mostly interested in the shopping,however,so we will also stop by Regent Street.
We plan to take a train ,which should only take an hour and a half. Since we are staying for a week, we plan to have a rest after we arrive and then hit the sights the next day.
Well, I guess that's about it for now. I'll buy you a souvenir from the Tower shop.
