Step 1 Lead-in The teacher introduces her family through a family photo. Free talk. Let students talk about their family base on the questions in 1a. Set a situation. T: Yesterday, my friend Lily sent me an e-mail! There’s a photo of her family and her introduction. Let’s have a look. Step 2 Pre-reading Students look at the picture and answer: How many people are there in the photo Listen to the tape and find: Who is Lily Step 3 While-reading Task 1 Read the text and find ‘whose dog is it ’ Task 2 Read the text again and label the people.
