Step 2: Listening 1.Pre-listening Before listening to the tape,the teacher asks students to predict the relationship between Maggie and Mr.Zhou. Eg:the club name /the club type/the club aims 2. While-reading ①Predict contents The teacher asks students to read Maggie's proposal and compare their version with Maggie's proposal. T:Please read the proposal carefully and compare your version with it.Any difference Which is better State your reasons. ②Reading for the structure The teacher will help students to know what a formal proposal is like and understand its structure.
