英语重读闭音节就是重读音节为闭音节的音节。

重读闭音节中元音字母不是发它本身的字母音，而是发短元音。
元音字母在重读闭音节中的发音

/e/的发音：发音时舌尖抵住下齿根部，舌前端稍抬，舌位比/ /发音位偏低，唇形中开，口型比/ /较大。
