以辅音字母(r和字母组合除外)结尾且中间只有一个元音字母的音节叫作闭音节。
英语重读闭音节就是重读音节为闭音节的音节。
closed syllables (闭音节)
重读闭音节中元音字母不是发它本身的字母音,而是发短元音。
元音字母在重读闭音节中的发音

/ /的发音:发音时舌尖抵住下齿根部,舌前端抬高,舌位比/e/发音位置更低,两唇延展平伸,口型扁平,开口中大。

/e/的发音:发音时舌尖抵住下齿根部,舌前端稍抬,舌位比/ /发音位偏低,唇形中开,口型比/ /较大。
