Cycling to a greener future
With the approach of World Cycling Day, our school held a cycling event last Sunday to
promote eco-friendly transportation.
The event, with the theme “Cycling to a Greener Future”, took place along the Urban
Greenway. Students of all grades participated enthusiastically in the cycling, some speeding through
the course while others pedaling leisurely and enjoying the beautiful scenery along the way.
Warmly embraced by students and teachers alike, the event was a huge success. Not only did
students experience the joy of low-carbon travel firsthand but they were also inspired to take action
in creating a greener future.

However, I was assigned to pair up with Alex to design a poster. Reluctantly, we started
working together. I was worried that working with Alex would be very difficult because of our
previous relationship. But to my surprise, as the work progressed, we found that we shared many

outstanding poster. Alex seemed to forgive me. He appreciated my efforts and began to care about

as my classmates crowned me and gave me a thumbs-up. Slowly but surely, I started feeling more

opportunities and new experiences for me.
