(B. Start to read ＆ C. Project ＆ Reading time)
教学目标 1.能听、说、认读单词o’clock，birthday, cut，piece，more，eat, cake等;能理解Start to read和Reading time板块的内容；能独立完成Start to read以及Project板块的相关练习；能在实际情景中运用“Happy birthday!”祝贺别人生日快乐。（语言能力） 2.通过阅读训练了解数字在不同场景中的应用及不同的表现形式。（文化意识） 3.能通过观察图片进行预测，帮助理解阅读材料。（思维品质） 4.能积极参与课堂活动，大胆表达。（学习能力）
教学重点 能运用所学知识完成相关的练习； 能在实际情景中灵活运用所学语言。
教学难点 能理解Start to read和Reading time板块的内容。
教学过程 批注
Step 1 Warm-up&Lead in 通过歌曲及游戏活跃课堂气氛，同时也对所学字母及数字进行复习巩固。 将语言知识渗透在课堂活动的对话中，激活学生的知识储备，为接下来的新课做铺垫。
Warm up 1.Greetings 师生之间互相打招呼问候。 T: Good morning, boys and girls. Ss: Good morning, Miss / Mr … 2.Enjoy a song – ABC song PPT播放字母操视频，学生跟唱。 3.Listen and do 教师随机说出1-10的英文单词，学生听指令用手势表示数字。 T: Show me one with your fingers! Show me nine! … 示范数次后可请几位学生发指令，其他学生做手势。 4. Play a game: Sharp eyes PPT呈现物品图片，学生根据图片内容快速说出对应的数词及物品。 T: Look, what do you see How many Ss: A panda. / Two cats. / Three apples … … Lead in（课前引入） PPT呈现生日蛋糕的图片，教师戴上生日帽，引出生日场景。 T: Look at the picture! What can you see Ss: It’s a cake. T: Yes! It’s a cake. And it’s my birthday today! What will you say to me Ss: Happy birthday! T: Thanks! 教师板书“Happy birthday!”，领读句子。
Step 2 Presentation&Practice 引导学生观察图片，并用所学知识描述图片，学以致用。 引导学生对听力内容进行预测，帮助学生掌握一定的听力技巧，培养学生的学习策略。 培养学生的动手能力，增强综合语言运用能力。
Presentation.（单词/句型学习） Start to read PPT呈现Start to read板块的第一张图片，教师引导学生观察图片上的信息，边看图边回答问题。 T: Look at the picture! Who are they Ss: Sarah and Sam! T: What number can you see in the picture Ss: Seven. T: Right! It’s seven o’clock. 板书“It’s seven o’clock.”，讲解句子意思并带领学生操练句型。 T: It’s seven o’clock. What are Sarah and Sam going to do Can you guess Ss: … 学生通过Sarah手里的碗及香蕉猜测出与salad有关。 T: Yes, they’re going to make some salad. Hurry! 板书“Hurry!”并教学句子。 PPT呈现Start to read板块的第二张图片，教师提问，学生边看边回答。 T: Sarah is cutting some fruit now. What fruit can you see Ss: One orange, two apples and three bananas. T: Excellent! Now we have some salad, and a cake. PPT呈现Start to read板块的第三张图片，教师指着水果沙拉和生日蛋糕的图片进行提问。 T: Look at the picture! Whose birthday is it Ss: Sarah and Sam’s mum. T: Yes, it’s her birthday! What can we say to her Ss: Happy birthday! T: Good! Now let’s cut the cake. One, two, three! Three cuts. Let's eat! 教师边做出切蛋糕的动作边数数，板书“Three cuts. Let's eat!”并教学句子。 PPT呈现Start to read板块的第四张图片，教师指着小狗的图片进行提问。 T: Look. Sam has a dog. He wants to give the dog some cake. One more cut for the dog. 教师边做出切蛋糕的动作边板书“One more cut for the dog.”，讲解句子意思。 T: The dog likes cake too. But …（引导学生观察图片，尝试读出句子。） Ss: Dogs don’t eat cake! PPT呈现Start to read板块的完整图片，教师逐句讲解，领读句子，学生跟读。 播放Start to read板块的视频，学生边看边跟读。 Practice.（单词/句型操练） PPT呈现Start to read板块的练习题，教师讲解题目要求，学生圈出文本中出现的数词，随后请几名学生说出答案，共同核对。 PPT呈现1-10的英文单词，学生齐读数词并根据奇偶数进行分类。 C. Project 1. PPT呈现C. Project板块的活动一，教师讲解题目意思，引出新人物Xinxin和Matt。 2. 播放音频，学生听录音圈出答案。随后核对答案。 3. PPT呈现C. Project板块的活动二，教师组织学生仔细观察邀请函的内容并完成课本问题，随后共同核对答案。 4. PPT呈现活动三的生日卡片，引导学生观察贺卡上面的内容，然后请学生动手制作生日贺卡。 5. 展示环节。请几位学生上台展示他们的生日贺卡并送给他们的朋友。 S1: Happy birthday, … S2: Thanks! …
Step 3 Consolidation&Extension 利用语篇了解不同的文化，培养学生的跨文化意识。
Reading time PPT呈现Reading time板块的插图，教师依次展示数字6的不同表现形式，引导学生理解文本内容。 T: Look at the pictures. There are different kinds of number cards. How many cards Let’s count together. Ss: One, two, three, four, five, six! Six cards. T: And what’s this （PPT呈现阿拉伯数字6） Ss: Six. T: Right! What about this one （PPT呈现罗马数字6） Ss: Hmm, it’s six too.（教师简单介绍罗马数字） T: And what’s this （PPT呈现中文“六”） Ss: It’s six again. T: You’re right! What about this （PPT呈现甲骨文数字6） Ss: … T: It’s six too. （学生自由讨论后，教师介绍甲骨文的相关知识并小结）Numbers are helpful. We use them all the time. Numbers are different around the world. Step 4 Summary&Homework
