一、教材分析 Analysis of teaching material
What:本课时属于阅读强化,呈现的语篇是名字中的家庭纽带。语篇内容主要介绍了来自英国艾伦的名字,爷爷和爸爸的名字,妈妈的名字。分别介绍了每个人的姓,名,中间名,全名以及相应的传统和缘由。Why:语篇介绍了英国艾伦一家里每个人的姓,名,中间名,全名以及相应的传统和缘由,是为了让我们了解外国人的姓名渊源,培养文化意识,明白其中的文化差异,尊重文化差异。How:语篇以分总的形式呈现,开篇第一段打招呼,介绍了自己的名字和国籍,接着介绍了姓名文化,有名,有中间名和姓。第二段介绍了艾伦爷爷和爸爸的名字,两个人的名字一样,说明了原因是为了表示由衷的敬意以及如何称呼爷爷和爸爸以区分他们。第三段介绍了艾伦妈妈以前的名字和现在的名字,说明了原因是因为在英国,女人经常把她的姓氏变成她丈夫的姓氏。结尾第四段作者抛出了自己的看法,名字展示了家庭纽带,并且反问,我们是如何看待名字的?活动1是阅读文章,圈出正确的单词完成句子。活动2是开放性的几个问题:英文名字中,哪个是姓,哪个是名?中国名字呢?哪个是姓,哪个是名?中国父母怎样给自己的孩子取名?你自己的名字有什么含义?

十、教学反思Teaching reflection
In this class, I guided students to learn how to predict the main idea of the whole passage through the title and the picture, how to divide paragraphs through fast reading and how to get details through careful reading.Seventy percent of students can finish the reading tasks and catch up with the class.It’s difficult for the rest of students to make it because of many strange words.To my surprise and joy, each student is interested in all kinds of names including full name, first name, given name, middle name, last name, family name and surname.And they are also crazy about the differences between Chinese names and foreign names.
