教材解读与学情分析 The narrative told the first lesson of Wang han at junior high to help students understand the new school life, especially the differences between junior high and primary school.
Students are eager to learn more about new school life. The story is easy but some expressions like 'Questions jumped into my mind' are difficult to understand. i should be patient and sometimes encourage students to answer the questions in Chinese to keep them active in class.
教学目标 1) Students can use skimming to get the main idea of the passage. 2) Students can use scanning to find key information they need. 3) Students can evaluate Wang han's behavior and know the importance of thinking independently. 4) Students can understand the importance of thinking in learning.
教学重难点 1) Students can understand the motivations of Wang Han's behaviors. 2) Students can understand the importance of thinking more in learning.
教学准备 information about Confucis and Mencius collection of some famous sayings about learning

Reading tip: pay attention to words about occupations (like teacher), subjects (like English), verbs (like write) and feelings (like jump into my mind). Answers: 1. His first lesson was an English lesson. 2. He started to write down a sentence. 3. He found a mistake. Read and choose 1. What's the main idea of the passage We should learn from great thinkers. Teachers sometimes make mistakes. It's important for students to think and learn.

教学反思 The reading lesson could be hard for my students. For this reason I didn't design any activities to learn the structure of the passage. I just mentioned them during careful reading. It was a regret.

教材解读与学情分析 The diary told a story between a student and his teacher in the first lesson. The smart, kind new teacher helped the student out of embarassment.
The story happened in daily life and it is not hard to understand. But new students are too shy to answer questions in class. The teacher should encourage them to put up their hands and answer loudly in front of the classmates.

教材解读与学情分析 This lesson is made up of two listening materials: a students'union radio and a conversation. The radio is about how to plan time in junior high. The conversation is about Zhang Wen's problem of how to plan time and Li Lin's advice on it.
7th grader may share the same problem as Zhang Wen. This lesson helps them get better used to the new life. Students also have many opinions on this topic.

教学反思 新教材难度大在课堂上一定要有取舍,不能什么都要,一来是课前要做好词汇教学,二来是课堂设计要符合学情。在本节课中,A2原本的设计是填空,但是学生不会写problem, Thursaday等词,所以改成了选词。
