Plants are everywhere — on land, in the ocean and even in space! That's cool, right Plants can't speak, but they have surprising power. Let's have a look.
How much did you grow last year Five centimetres Ten centimetres Well, some bamboo can grow 91 centimetres in just one day! That's very fast!
A lot of our food comes from plants. People began to farm and grow their own food over 10,000 years ago.
But plants are more than food. They can also keep us healthy — like “green doctors”. We use different plants to make medicines.
Please look at the plants near you and say hello! They are our great friends.
