一、教学内容分析
本节课是一节视听说课，为本单元最后一个课时，视频主题是“孔子与仁”，聚焦儒家思想中“仁”的内涵及其在现代社会中的意义。在学习了本单元前几个课时的内容之后，学生了解到了不同人身上的优秀品质和美德，无论是为社会做出重大贡献的著名人物，还是奉献爱心的普通人，都在为社会带来积极的影响。通过学习本节课，学生可以加深对于“仁”的理解，并身体力行地将儒家思想融入到自己的学习和生活中，树立正确的道德观和价值观，塑造美好的品格，为传播和弘扬中华优秀传统文化而努力。
二、语篇分析
【What】 视频的内容主题为“孔子和仁”。视频主要介绍了儒家思想在中华文化中的意义，并解读了“仁”的内涵及其在儒家思想中的地位。从古至今，儒家思想一直是中华文化的重要组成部分，更助益教育和社会的发展。作为儒家思想重要组成部分的“仁”，更因其深远内涵，被孔子视为道德的最高准则。另外，视频中两位专家分享了自己对儒家思想和“仁”的理解，进一步强调了“仁”对于指导学生的学习，生活和处事，具有重大影响。 【Why】 通过介绍儒家思想的意义以及“仁”的内涵，使学生了解学习儒家思想的必要性，同时更深刻地理解“仁”在指导学习和生活中的重要作用，加深对中华传统文化的认知。另外，视频为学生学习用英语讲述中国传统文化提供了示范，也为学生将来的跨文化交流打下了语言基础。 【How】 该视频采用旁白介绍和专家采访的形式。视频内容可分为两个部分，分别介绍了儒家思想意义和“仁”的内涵。从视频架构上来看，第一部分中，通过对比展现了儒家思想一直以来对于社会发展的影响；第二部分中则从不同的视角解读了“仁”的内涵。首先是字形解读，其次是专家对于“仁”的来源的理解，最后则引用孟子和论语中的名言来分析“仁”的涵义。 从语言上来看，视频使用了“have been an important part of Chinese culture, is greatly valued in education and society”等短语来介绍儒家思想的意义；使用“the most basic values of life, how to become a better person, how to get along with other people, how to live a happy, meaningful life”等来介绍学习儒家思想的必要性；使用“represent the heart of Confucius thought, stand for the number two, indicate relationships between individuals, or with all of society, the highest moral principle, benevolence”等介绍“仁”的内涵；并引用“loving one’s parents, loving people, loving everything in the world; Whatever you don’t like done to yourself, don’t do it to others”等经典儒家名言，为学生介绍中华传统文化奠定语言基础。
三、学情分析
学生处于高一年级下学期。学生具备一定的视听能力，可以从视频材料中提取相应信息。在学习了本单元其它课时的基础上，学生对于本单元主题“道德与美德”有了较为清晰的认识，对于本单元的话题“孔子和仁”这一儒家思想重要组成部分也并不陌生，但对于如何使用英语来介绍这一中华传统文化并不熟悉。
四、教学目标
通过本课时学习，学生能够： 1. 获取并梳理儒家思想的意义以及“仁”的内涵； 2. 分析儒家思想在学习和生活中的影响并表达自己的观点。
五、教学重难点
【重点】 获取并梳理儒家思想的意义以及“仁”的内涵。 【难点】 分析儒家思想在学习和生活中的影响并表达自己的观点。
六、教学活动设计
环节一：导入话题，激活已知，提供相关背景知识。（4 mins） 教师首先引导学生总结本单元学过的优秀人物身上的品质，引出被尊称为“圣人”的孔子。通过提问学生对于孔子的了解，导入话题“孔子与仁 (Confucius and Ren)”。
教学活动 1. Ss summarize the good qualities of a person that they have learned about in this unit. 2. Ss read a note about “saint” and share their knowledge of Confucius by answering the following question: ●What do you know about Confucius 活动层次 学习理解之感知与注意 效果评价 通过提问及观察学生的回答，了解学生对本单元主题的理解程度以及对于孔子及儒家思想的已有认知。
环节设计意图： 导入话题，激活学生关于孔子和儒家思想的已有知识，并补充相关背景知识。
环节二：浏览视频的内容简介部分，预测视频内容。（4 mins） 教师带领学生一起浏览视频的内容介绍和Before You Watch的部分，预测视频内容。
教学活动 3. Ss read the introduction of the video and discuss the following questions: ●What is the significance of Ren ●What do you expect to see in the video 4. Ss fill in the blanks in the Before You Watch part. 活动层次 学习理解之概括与整合 应用实践之描述与阐释 效果评价 通过提问，了解学生对于“仁”的理解，以及他们对于基于已知内容对视频进行预测的能力。
环节设计意图： 引导学生结合已给信息预测视频内容。
环节三：观看视频，验证猜测，并获取细节信息。（11 mins） 教师播放视频，引导学生注意观看并记录有关儒家思想的历史，其核心内容及孔子对于“仁”的看法及其内涵，以验证Before You Watch部分的答案。引导学生浏览While You Watch部分活动2内容，并再次播放视频。

环节四：梳理视频结构，深入探讨视频中的核心内容。（14 mins） 教师再次播放视频，并引导学生将视频分为不同的部分，了解各部分的主旨大意，从中获取并梳理出“仁”的内涵及意义，并深入探究核心内容，小组讨论儒家思想在当代生活中的作用以及学习儒家思想的意义所在。

环节五：联系自身经验，运用新知，谈论儒家思想在现代社会中的影响。（7 mins） 教师鼓励学生结合自身已知，以及视频新知，与同伴分享自己对于儒家思想在现代社会的意义的理解。内容包括：儒家思想在中国以怎样的方式在影响着我们的教育和社会？如果你可以身体力行地实践“仁”的思想的话，你认为你的生活会发生改变吗？
教学活动 8.
