Big Question: How can you make good use of your time 该主题属于"人与自我"范畴下的"做人与做事"主题群,涉及子主题内容为"自我认知,自我管理,自我提升"。本单元由3篇对话,2篇记叙文2种不同类型的语篇组成。第1篇对话是Peter和母亲之间的对话,Peter因为要值日,起床迟了,紧急匆忙收拾后去了学校;第2篇对话是 Peter到了学校门口碰到韩林并且询问了日常活动及时间;第3篇对话是卢诗琪作为一名学校记者采访了Tom的一天日常。第1篇记叙及介绍了Sam的周末;第2篇记叙文介绍了Tim的一天。本单元的核心语言主要围绕时间的安排,描述活动频率、日常活动等方面展开。涉及时间安排的介绍(make use of routine, while, weekend,daily routine,break),描述活动频率(usually, only, already),描述日常活动(take a shower, get dressed, on duty, get up, go to bed, ice hockey, reporter)等。该单元旨在培养学生理解良好的时间管理和日常习惯对个人发展的重要性,不仅能够帮助孩子更有效地利用时间,提高学习效率,还能够培养孩子的自制力和自信心。
