in front of
in front of和in the front of都是表示位置的介词短语，它们都可以用来描述一个物体或者人在另一个物体或者人的前面。
区别：in front of表示的是外部的位置；
in the front of表示的是内部的位置。
eg:
There is a tree in front of the house.
（房子前面有一棵树。）
There is a sofa in the front of the living room.
（客厅最前面有一张沙发。）
总结：有 “the”在里，无 “the”在外。
