Pre-reading Activity 1 Show a video called Schindler's List to the student. Give them some background information about Oscar Schindler. 1.Who is Schindler and where did he come from 2.what did he does during World WarⅡ 3. what happened during World WarⅡ And then, just introduce The British Schindler --Nicholas Winton to students. Detailed reading Activity 4.Learning to learn Q1: How are biographies usually organised They are organised in the order of time. Q2: What should you do while reading a biography We should make a timeline to record and track important information, such as dates, places and key events. (Summary and integration) Activity 5. Read the lines. According to the passage, draw your timeline and find out what happens at different timeline. 本堂课的主要内容来自于外研版 (2019 年) 学生用书必修三第二单元 developing 部分。这次的备课过程当中让我自己感受到理论知识的匮乏，丰富的知识理论有助于在教学设计中指引方向，设计出符合新课标理念的课程。经常反思自己的教学行为，对整个教学过程进行回顾、分析和审视，才能形成自我反思的意识和自我监控的能力，才能不断丰富自我素养，提升自我发展能力。
