教学分析
教学内容分析及信息结构图 Writing范文介绍了鸡蛋入杯压强实验的过程及结果。实验报告共分为三段，采用总分总的结构。第一段总体介绍实验的目的，第二段介绍实验所需材料和实验过程，第三段汇报实验结果，以及实验收获。语篇通过This experiment is designed to…I prepared…Procedure, After the experiment…等句型，把整个实验过程一一展开。课程要求学生通过观察实验学习实验的指导步骤，体会实验报告的文体及语言特征，激发学生感受科学的严谨性从而加强学生对科学研究的兴趣。
学情分析 本课的教学对象是已进入高中一年级的学生，年龄在15---16岁之间。学生已经具备了一定的阅读写作能力，但英语水平层次不齐。但是根据新课标要求，学生的写作能力仍需进一步提高，高中对不同文本的写作也需要进行系统的培养和训练。
课时教学目标 提高学生的写作能力。 引导学生用正确的时态、结构、句型、过渡词完成一篇实验报告。 引导学生敢于呈现自己的观点。
教学重点、难点 教学重点： 引导学生理解并掌握文章结构、句型、过渡词。 引导学生用高级词汇及不同的句型完成写作。 教学难点: 引导学生梳理文章结构，培养学生的写作能力。 通过学生自评、互评，体会实验报告的语言特征，激发学生感受科学的严谨性，培养学生对科学研究的兴趣。

Step 1 Iw T asks Ss to read the experiment report and pick out the structure of the passage. Ss read the passage carefully and try to pick out the structure of the passage. Lead to the topic, and activate the Ss’ background knowledge
设计意图 让学生阅读实验报告，让学生总结实验报告的特征，从而为写作作铺垫。

Step 3 Iw T asks Ss to write an experiment report. Topic:化学课上学习了关于溶解 的知识后，请你根据下表做一个化学实验,比较橘子汁和食用油在水中的溶解情况，然后用英语写一份词数80 左右的实验报告，给出结论。 实验目的：观察橘子汁和食用油这两种物质是否溶解于水。 实验器材：试管;小勺(spoon) 实验方法：(1)将水分别注入两个试管中,并确保水位相等; (2)把两种物质分别放在装有水的两个试管里; (3)待5分钟后观察反应实验结果：橘子汁溶解(dissolve)了,食用油没有任何反应。 1.可用词汇： ①实验的目的the aim/purpose of the experiment ②查明find out ③把……倒入……pour...into... ④相等的equal ⑤同时at the same time ⑥五分钟后five minutes later 2.句式 ①五分钟后，橘子汁已经溶解了,但食用油仍保留在表面上。 After five minutes, the orange juice has dissolved, but the oil remains on the surface. ②橘子汁很快溶解了,食用油没有任何反应。 Orange juice dissolves in water quickly. Oil is hard to dissolve in water. Ss write the experiment report. Check Ss’s writing ability.
设计意图 让学生在课堂中写作文，将所学知识应用于实践中。
Step 4 Iw/Gw T evaluates Ss’ compositions and then asks Ss to give comments on each other’s compositions. Ss give comments on each other’s compositions. Make Ss learn something from their students’compositions and consolidate what have learned.
设计意图 学生通过互评，找到同学作文的不足之处及亮点，相互学习，使写作能力得到加强。
