Teaching design principles
Based on new curriculum standard and College Entrance Examination Evaluation System, all the learning activities will be designed to improve students’ core competence on the basis of the thematic context.
Analysis of the teaching material
This period focuses on talking about the online habits of students, which is familiar to the students. However, the students are not familiar with what they do online, how much they spend online and why they use the Internet. So ,in the class, students are expected to do a survey on their online habits. In the meanwhile, they know each other better and know how to use the Internet properly.
Analysis of the students
The students are in senior one. Students are interested in the topic, but they do not know how to express their online habits and lack listening strategies.
Teaching objectives
Students will be able to understand the content and structure of the reading passage.
Students will be able to master the main topic of the passage and use the skills to catch the key information in the reading process.
Students will be able to master the principle of the present perfect passive voice.
Students will be able to write a blog post with some useful expressions to talk about the suggestions of online safety.

Students can master the structures and usages of the grammar.
Students can write a blog post to talk about online safety.
Teaching difficult points
Help the students improve their ability to describe in English by using present perfect passive voice.
Guide students to use linking word, transition sentences and other meaningful sentences to make their compositions perfect.
