all over the world = around the world” 也表示 “全世界；世界各地”。eg. He has traveled around the world.

1. keep + 形容词：表示保持某种状态。keep quiet（保持安静）
2. keep + 宾语 + 形容词 / 副词 / 介词短语：使某人或某物处于某种状态。
keep the room clean（使房间保持干净）
3. keep doing sth.：持续做某事。keep studying（持续学习）；
4. keep on doing sth.：反复做某事，强调动作的反复性。
keep on asking questions（不断地问问题）。
5. keep sb. from doing sth.：阻止某人做某事。
The rain keeps us from going out.（雨阻止了我们外出。）
6. keep + 名词：表示保留、保存某物。keep a diary（记日记）；

(1)短语in the hope of doing sth意思是“抱着……的希望”。如：
He wears red in the hope ofhaving good luck.
他穿着红色的衣服，希望有好运气。
(2)短语get over意思是“解决，克服”。如：
With his help,I know how to get over the problem.
在他的帮助下，我知道怎么解决这个问题。
5. They're hoping for a new year with lots of travel.
1. “hope for + 名词”，表示希望得到某样具体的东西或某种情况。
例如：We hope for good weather tomorrow.（我们希望明天有好天气。）这里 “good weather” 是具体希望得到的情况。
She hopes for a new bike.（她希望有一辆新自行车。）
“a new bike” 是具体希望得到的物品。
2. “hope for + 动词不定式”，表示希望发生某个动作或出现某种情况。
He hopes for his son to succeed.（他希望他的儿子能成功。）
这里 “to succeed” 是希望发生的动作。
