词语运用
How can you study well I think you should have 1.    few good study habits. With good study habits, you can spend much 2.    (little) time studying but learn more.

介词by的用法如下:
用法
by by+v.-ing,意为“通过……,以……方式”
by+执行者,意为“由;被”,常与被动语态连用
by+地点名词,意为“在……旁边,靠近”
by+时间点,意为“不迟于”
by+交通方式,意为“乘,坐”

by accident/chance偶然;意外地
one by one一个接一个
一、根据汉语提示完成句子。
1.他以教英语谋生。
He made a living     teaching English.
2.当铃声响起时,学生们一个接一个地走进教室。
When the bell rings, the students walk into the classroom    .

二、根据括号中的汉语提示完成句子。

discover的用法
Tu Youyou is the Chinese scientist who/that discovered an effective drug against malaria.
discover作动词,意为“发现,发觉”;discoverer作名词,意为“发现者”。
discover/create/invent
三者含义相近,但用法不同:
单词 用法
discover 意为“发现”,指自然界本已存在,但以前未被发现或认识的事物
create 意为“创造,创作”,指产生出新的东西

lie和lay的用法
Dr Ma laid his papers on the desk for the young doctors to study yesterday.
lay作为动词原形,意为“放置,安放;下蛋,产卵”。其过去式、过去分词都为laid,现在分词为laying。lay out意为“摆开;布置;摊开”。
用括号内所给词的适当形式填空。

warn的用法

warn常用作及物动词,意为“警告;告诫”。其常用搭配如下:
