本句是一个含有宾语从句的主从复合句。“Do you think..”是主句，"there will be..."是从句。do you think 作插入语，常放在疑问词后，结构为：疑问词+do you think+主语+谓语+其他成分，do you think 后的句子应用陈述句语序。

2. Will people use money in 100 years 100年以后人们还会用钱吗？
in 100years意为“100年以后”,指以现在为起点的100年后，常用于一般将来时中。对此类短语提问应用how soon。如：Can you tell me what will happen in 100 years
★词汇辨析---辨析：in,after 与 later
in和after都是介词，可表示“在……之后”，但用法有所不同。
（1）in是指以现在时间为起点的“一段时间以后”，也可以表示“在将来多少时间之内”，句中的谓语动词要用一般将来时。
（2)after表示以过去的某一时间为起点，意为“……之后”，其后既可接时间点，又可接时间段。但是，如果after用于一般将来时，其后应接时间点。
如：I think he will come here after 3:00 p. m.我想他下午3点后将来这里。
（3）later是副词，表示“一段时间之后”，构成“一段时间+later”短语，表示从过去或将来算起的多久以后，但通常不指从现在算起的多久以后。

3.There will be fewer people.将来会有更少的人。There will be less free time.将来会有更少的空闲时间。

（1）fewer意为“更少的；较少的”，是few的比较级，只能修饰可
数名词复数形式。如：Lucy has fewer friends than Mary.露西拥有的朋友比玛丽少。
（2）less意为“更少的；较少的”，是little的比较级，只能修饰不可数名词。如：
He has less water than you.他拥有的水比你少。
（3）more是many和much的比较级，既可以修饰可数名词复数或不可数名词，也可以修饰动词短语。如：People will use the computers more.人们将会更多地使用电脑。

sometimes作副词，意为“有时”，相当于at times。
如：I often go to school by bike, but sometimes I walk.我经常骑车上学，但有时我步行。
sometimes 副词，意为“有时”。 Sometimes I go for a picnic with my sister. 有时候我和妹妹去 野餐。
sometime 副词，意为“在某一时候（过去或将来）”，表示任何时候或某一不确定的时间。 We'll take our holiday sometime in August. 我们将在八月的某个时侯度假。
some time 短语，意为“一段时间”。其中time意为“时间”，为不可数名词。 She will stay in Beijing for some time. 她将在北京待一段时间。
some times 短语，意为“几次；几倍”。其中time意为“次；倍”，为可数名词。 Our school is some times larger than theirs. 我们的学校比他们的学 校大几倍。
（2）sky 通常使用单数形式，与定冠词the连用，表示“天空”。如果强调天空辽阔，或描述某地的天气、天空情况时，可用复数形式skies。如：
①The stars sparkle in the dark sky.夜晚的天空中星星闪闪发光。
②Greece is beautiful land of blue skies and sunshine.希腊是一个蓝天丽日的美丽国度。

7. Fewer people will do such jobs in the future because they are boring, but robots will never get bored.在将来很少有人愿意做这样的工作，因为它们太枯燥了，但机器人永远不会觉得无聊。
（1）such和so都有“如此；这样”的意思，但它们的用法不同。such 修饰名词（当修饰单数可数名词时，要用 such a/an)，so修饰形容词或副词。如：
such a beautiful flower=so beautiful a flower这么漂亮的一朵花
当名词前有many,much,few或little等词修饰时,要用so不能用such。
如：so many books这么多的书
（2）boring和bored都是形容词，区别在于boring是指事情本身是无趣的，bored是指人感到厌烦的。跟它们类似的词有：interesting, interested; tiring, tired; exciting, excited;
surprising,surprised等。

8. For example, scientist James White thinks that robots will never be able to wake up and know where they are.例如，科学家詹姆斯·怀特认为机器人将永远不能醒来并知道它们在哪里。
wake up意为“醒来；叫醒”，up是副词，当人称代词作其宾语时，人称代词应放在wake和up中间。如：I'll wake you up when it's time to leave.到走的时候我会叫醒你的。

9.…it may take hundreds of years.…这可能要花数百年的时间。
(1)句中的take意为“花费”,常用句型：It takes sb.some time to do sth.。 如:

(2)hundreds of 意为“许多；大量”，“hundreds of+名词复数”表示“数百的……”时，hundred后加-s，其前不加具体的数字。但“数词+hundred+名词复数”表示具体的“几百……”时，
hundred后不加-s,也不加 of。如：
①There are hundreds of students here.这里有数百名学生。
②About two hundred students are playing on the playground.大约200名学生正在操场上玩。

语法解读
1.基本用法
will结构通常表示将来某个时间要发生的动作或存在的状态，常与表示将来的时间状语“in+时间段”，next year,in the future等连用。如：
Susan will be 16 years old next year.苏珊明年就16岁了。
2.句式结构
（1）肯定结构：“主语+will+动词原形+其他，”。will无人称和数的变化。如：
We will have much rain next month.下个月我们（这边）将有很多雨水。
（2）否定结构：“主语+will not/won't+动词原形+其他。”。如：
Eric won't go to the movies this weekend.埃里克这个周末不会去看电影。
（3）一般疑问句结构：“Will+主语+动词原形+其他？”，其简略答语为：“Yes,主语（人称代词）will./No，主语（人称代词）+won't.”。如：
-Will he go swimming with you 他和你一起去游泳吗
--Yes,he will./No,he won't.是的，他会。/不，他不会
（4）特殊疑问句结构：“疑问词+will+主语+动词原形+其他？”。如：
Where will you go tomorrow 你明天要去哪里
3.特殊用法
there be 结构与 will 连用时要用“There will be…"句型，意为“将有……”。如：
There will be lots of new buildings in our city in five years.5年后我们的城市里会有许多新的建筑物。
4.be going to和will 的区别
（1）be going to表示近期、眼下就要发生的事情，will表示的将来时间则较远一些。如：
①We are going to take a walk tonight.我们今晚将去散步。
②I will visit you in a month.一个月内我将去拜访你。
（2）在表示将来发生的事情时，be going to用于主观判断；will则多用于客观情况。如：
①He is going to die.他就要死了。
②She will be thirteen years old.她就快13岁了。
（3）表示有迹象表明要发生某事，用be going to,不用will。如：
Look at the clouds!It's going to rain.看这些云彩!快下雨了。
（4）be going to用于事先经过考虑，打算要做的事；will则表示没有经过计划的事情或临时的意图。如：
①We are going to visit the Great Wall during the summer holiday.
在暑假期间，我们打算游览长城。(有计划)
②The door bell is ringing.I'Il answer the door.门铃响了。我去开门。（临时起意）
