2. half the class won't come 一半的学生都不会来
half 意为“一半；半数”。half of 后跟名词时，这个名词前若有the ,this,my等限定词修饰，of 可省略。此时谓语动词与half后的主语保持一致。如：

知识拓展：①half of后也可接代词，这时of不能省略。如：
Half of them enjoyed the party last night.他们中有一半人喜欢昨晚的聚会。
②half 还可以作名词，意为“一半；半”，其复数形式为halves。

3. Can you give me some advice please 能请你给我一些建议吗
advice是不可数名词,表示“一条建议”用 a piece of advice,而不能说成an advice。advice的动词形式为advise。How many pieces of advice did you give them 你给了他们几条建议？
知识拓展：①表示“有关……的建议”时，用介词on,on后接名词、代词或“疑问词+不定式”结构。如：advice on health有关健康的建议

②表示接受意见或劝告，一般用动词take/follow/accept。如：
He always follows other people's advice, and hardly ever has his own ideas.

4. make a lot of money 赚很多钱

（1）worries 是名词worry的复数形式，意为“担心；令人担心的事情”。如：

1.if意为“如果；假如”，可用来引导条件状语从句。含有条件状语从句的句子属于复合句，从句表示主句动作发生的前提或条件。结构为“if+陈述句，主语+谓语”，也可以为“主语+谓语+
if+陈述句”，意为“如果……就……”。如：
If it is fine tomorrow, we will go hiking.=We will go hiking if it is fine tomorrow.
如果明天天气好，我们就去远足。
2.时态
当主句和条件状语从句中的动词都表示将来的动作时，主句常用一般将来时，从句常用一般现
在时，即“主将从现”。如：
If it rains this weekend, we won't go out.如果这周末下雨，我们就不出去。
3.if 引导的条件状语从句可以转换为“祈使句，and+另一个句子”。如果if 引导的条件状语从句是否定句，可以转换为“祈使句，or（否则；要不然）+另一个句子”。如：
(1) If you try your best to do it, you will find it easy.
=Try your best to do it, and you will find it easy.
