I.Design philosophy Based on the new curriculum standard, we need to cultivate students’ ability of cooperation and develop their inquiry ability. It’s important for teachers to lead students to learn by themselves and use the language they have studied to talk about the things around their life.
II.Analysis of students Students have learned some animals about pets and other animals in the zoo. So they can easily accept the topic of this lessen.And they have learned some adjective words, they can use them to describe the features of wild animals.
III. Analysis of teaching material Topic: Wild animalsThis lesson is the first lesson of this unit. It talks about the wild animals . The main sentence are: What wild animal do you like best They are strong and can run very fast. They are so cute.
IV.Teaching objectives Knowledge aims 1.To learn several kinds of wild animals’ names: bear, dolphin, giant panda, squirrel, tiger, zebra2.To learn the new expressions
Ability aim To learn to talk about the wild animals you like best.
Emotional aim To encourage students to protect wild animals.

Teaching reflection. 只有不断总结反思，才能发现问题，进行改进。通过这节课，我有以下反思：应该尊重每个学生，根据不同学生需要实际不同难度的活动，让每个学生都能参与到课堂活动中来；把英语教学与实际生活有机地结合起来，创造各种合作学习的活动，促进学生互相学习，互相帮助，体验成就感；关注有困难的或性格内向的学生，尽可能地为他们创造语言的机会。存在的问题：学生对话训练时间太短。新课程改革不必须要与实践相结合，我将继续努力，积极进取，在课改中不断学习，不断实践，不断反思，与新课程和学生共同成长。
