四、语法知识点
1. 名词作定语
名词作定语修饰名词时,一般用单数形式,但good, man, woman, sport作定语时通常用复数形式。
例如:goods train(货车);women teachers(女教师);sports shoes(运动鞋)
2. be able to的用法
be able to能、会,后面接动词原形,表示有能力做某事。
例如:He is able to help you with your English.
注意:be able to有各种时态变化,如:He was able to finish the work yesterday.(他昨天能够完成这项工作。)
3. improve的用法
improve v. 意为“(使)好转,改善”,可直接接宾语表示改善的对象,也有improve on sth.(对……做出改进)和improve oneself(自我提高)等用法。
