教学目标
1．阅读文章，理解课文内容，了解故宫博物院钟表文物修复的复杂和不易，感受到钟表修复师王津耐得住寂寞，兢兢业业地做着修复工作的工匠精神； 2 联系自身实际，加深对本单元主题意义的理解，理解工匠精神和“一生做好一件事”的意义。思考工匠精神对自己学习态度，生活态度和价值观的启示。勇于克服困难，迎接挑战，培养钻研探索精神，发现自己的人生价值，用持之以恒的精神实现人生理想； 3.能够运用所学知识，通过比较、分析，联系生活实际，有逻辑，多层次地介绍杰出人物的生平事迹。

教学重点： 理解工匠精神的内涵，并思考工匠精神对自己人生价值观的启示。
教学难点： 能够运用所学的文章结构，介绍一位杰出人物的生平事迹。
教学过程
I.Lead in Have you been to the Forbidden city How much do you know about it 1.How many works of art are there in the Palace Museum 2.What do you think makes the Palace Museum unique in the world Now let’s watch a video and try to find the answers. Suggested answers: --1.There are around 1.8 million works of art. 2.cultural relic, tradition, glorious history, architecture... II． While reading Prediction Look at the title and pictures. Predict what the passage is about. Now， read the passage and check your prediction. Suggested answers：The passage is about Wang Jin and his team who are working in the Forbidden City to restore old clocks. Careful reading Reading for the main idea ：Read the passage again and find the main idea of each paragraph. The first paragraph:Wang Jin and the place he works. The second paragraph:The loneliness of the job The third paragraph:It's painstaking for Wang Jin and his students to repair the collections of timepieces. The fourth paragraph: The clock dating back to the time of Emperor Qianlong comes back to life. The fifth paragraph: Mr Wang remains optimistic about the future of these timepieces.
