Pre-reading Watch a video about Qomolangma, and answer the question: What do you know about Qomolangma Step 3. Prediction. What does the article talk about According to the picture and the title, students can predict: the article talks about “the dangers of mountain climbing in Qomolangma and what can we learn from the climbers .” Step 4. Fast-reading Read the article and match each paragraph with the main ideas. Step 5. Careful-reading Students read the first paragraph in two minutes and then fill the first chart: facts of Qomolangma :the location of the Himalayas and the height of Qomolangma .
