Ⅰ. Text Analysis
What:
Lesson 25 I Want to Be a Teacher is the first lesson in Unit 5 My Future. This unit focuses on talking about your future and what you need to do to achieve your dreams.
Why:
Through the study of this unit, students can understand different career characteristics, imagine the future according to their own advantages, and strive to achieve their dreams. In the learning process, students are allowed to express their dreams in English bravely according to their own advantages and specialties, put forward reasonable Suggestions to others' dreams, and overcome difficulties and strive hard to realize their dreams.
How:
This is a dialogue, including some sentences to introduce the ideals and aspirations, as well as the use of modal verbs might and would. The main tense is the present simple tense and the main words and phrases are future, might, doctor, carefully, sick, should, in the future, be nice to, grow up.
Ⅱ. Analysis of Students
Eight grade students already have the basic knowledge and skills, and it lays the foundation for the study of this lesson. Students at this stage have certain cognitive and language abilities, so they need to further lay a solid foundation and improve their learning ability. However, there are great differences in students' learning. For students with strong learning ability, some activities requiring high language expression ability can be designed, and they can be guided to actively cooperate with others in group activities, help each other and complete the learning task together. The requirement for students with poor learning ability should be lower, so that they can form an interactive group with students with good foundation and develop the habit of self-study, so that they can make progress in their study.

By the end of the lesson, students should be able to

Step 1. Lead-in
Show the students some pictures on the PPT, including the teacher's picture, and ask the students to guess what occupation they are. Then point to myself and ask: What is my occupation
Step 2. Listening
Listen and answer the questions.

Step 3. Reading
Read the lesson and fill in the blanks.
