教学内容：外研版新标准《英语》八年级上册 Module 8 Unit 2
课题：Module 8 Accidents Unit 2 I was trying to pick it up when it bit me again.
一、教学内容分析：
本模块以“事故”为主题，涉及交通事故、人被毒蛇咬伤等内容。学习本模块有助于使学生认识到注意安全的重要性，为他们掌握一些基本的急救措施提供帮助，也有助于提高学生应对突发事件的能力。本节课为本模块的第二课时，本堂课为是阅读课，文章介绍了一位厨师被蛇咬到手并及时用手机拍照进行自救的事情，语言地道、幽默。短文通过厨师的亲身经历向学生说明了遇到突发事件时应该沉着冷静，尽力想办法自救。
二、教学目标
1、知识目标：
词汇：理解并掌握些列词汇的基本含义及在语境中的意义：
动词：bite; climb; hide; throw
名词：fridge; pain; medicine
形容词、副词：worse
语法：理解过去进行时的构成和语义功能
2、语言技能目标：
读：能够根据图片预测下文；能够理解作者通过故事要传达的信息；能够理解语篇中故事发生的顺序。
写：能够根据提示用过去进行时描述事故
3、学习策略：小组合作，根据所给提示，完成简单的事故介绍
4、文化意识：了解常见的突发事件及应对方式
5、情感态度：通过学习，使学生认识到注意安全的重要性。
6、教学重点与难点：
重点：理解并掌握下列词汇的基本含义及在语境中的意义
