设计意图 本堂课主要是处理Understanding ideas模块，属于reading 阅读课。学生在课堂上的主要任务是读懂语篇，理清文章结构，找出文章的关键信息。对于知识点的处理将重点安排在下堂课。学生在本堂课的基础上，先自主预习，勾划出重点单词和短语，并仔细品读其在文中的运用。所以，作业设计第Ⅰ，II.这两本分主要是针对本模块要掌握的重点单词和短语的练习。本模块的语法点是定语从句，文章中有很多定语从句，学生课后复习课文，把定语从句找出来，加以理解。第III部分，就是课文中出现的定语从句的变形练习。第Ⅳ部分 Writing的目的是对学生能力的提升，要求学生在学了这篇课文之后，要学会如何与自然和谐共处。一方面有助于培养学生的情感能力，一方面锻炼学生的写作能力。
