教学目标

教学内容
教学重点: 1.学生能够在教师指导下,完成一个富有家庭特色的家谱。 2.学生能基于本单元所学,围绕家谱,从不同视角对自己的家庭进行口头介绍。 教学难点: 学生能够学生能够思考家庭的意义,意识到构建和谐家庭的重要性,形成正确的家庭观。
教学过程
1. Project introduction Activity 1: Find the most harmonious family on NingboFocus Teacher guides students to read an activity notice on the Wechat Official Account of Ningbo Focus and ushers in the project—make your own family tree. 2. Project research and preparation Activity 2: Raise questions Teacher guides students to raise questions based on the topic of “family tree”. Activity 3: Learn the content Teacher shows a family tree from the textbook and lets students observe carefully and find out the components of a family tree. Teacher then introduces the definition of a family tree. Activity 4: Learn the structure Teacher guides students to think about how a family tree is organized. Activity 5: Learn the steps Teacher asks students to think about how they can make a family tree. Activity 6: Summary Teacher guides students to summarize the whole process of making a family tree. 3. Implementation Activity 7: Lily’s family Teacher presents the reading material from the textbook and guides students to review the relationships between family members in Lily’s family. Activity 8: Make a family tree for Lily Teacher guides students to make a family tree for Lily step by step. 4. Project research and preparation Activity 9: Make special family trees Teacher leads students to add more details and change forms to make family trees special. Activity 10: Evaluation criteria Teacher lets students review what they’ve learnt in class and make a self-checklist together. 5. Implementation Activity 11: Make a family tree Teacher leads students to make family trees of their own with the help of process diagram and self-checklist. 6. Presentation and evaluation Activity 12: Introduce my family Teacher guides students to introduce their family with the family tree. And a self-checklist is also provided to guide the students’ presentation. 7. Post project Activity 13: Further thinking Teacher guides students to think about the meaning of family and echoes the theme of this unit. 8. Homework Must-do: Beautify your family tree and send it to Ningbofocus@. Choose-to-do: Make a video to introduce your family and upload it on social media to let more people know your family.
