Andrew Holleman, a 12-year-old boy, loved playing in the small forest near his home. The forest was a home for the birds, other animals and many different plants. It was also a perfect place for him to study and get to know the nature.

Shadow play, known as“Ying zi xi”in Chinese, is a kind of ancient shadow art. It has a history
of about 2,000 years in China, India and Southeast Asia. The moving shadows on a screen are used
to tell history and folk stories. And hand shadow is one of the simplest ways to make shadow play.

When she was 14 years old, Remya Jose’s life was turned upside down by a family crisis(危
机).
Remya, who lived in a small village in India, learned that her
