语篇分析 本课时是人教版六年级下册第五单元第二课时。围绕“父母的职业”这一话题展开，主要通过对话学习词汇factory worker, postman, businessman, police officer及询问职业的句型What does ... do He/She’s ...的表达。引导学生尊重他人的劳动，培养学生学习英语的热情，树立学好英语的信心。第一课时是本单元的首课时，为其它课时的学习做好铺垫。本课时的重点是四会单词的掌握以及能够运用四会单词谈论职业。 本课时包括Let’s learn 和Listen, match and say两个版块。Let’s learn呈现了张鹏和Oliver在职业体验日谈论自己父母工作的场景，体现了单词及词组的词形和意义。此话题贴近学生的实际生活，更能激发学生学习的兴趣。Listen, match and say版块是一个半机械性的操练活动。学生可以通过这个活动巩固运用A 部分学的词汇和句型。 有关职业的词汇和询问职业的句型What’s ...’s job He’s/She’s...在四年级的教材中已经初步涉及过，可以以此为契机呈现本课重点词汇和句型，并采用游戏、猜谜等方法巩固和运用所学知识。
教学目标教学重点、难点 在小组合作中理解核心词组factory worker, postman, businessman, 的音、形、义，并能在小组合作交流中掌握询问他人职业、工作地点的的句型，如：What does he/she do He’s/She’s a ... W（学习理解）完成相关的听、说、、写训练，提升听力和阅读能力，学生了解不同职业的工作性质、工作地点等信息，同时归纳总结有关职业名词的构词规律；（应用实践）发表自己的想法，表达心中最有价值的工作，充分发挥学生的高阶思维，培养学生的思维品质，引导学生在语境中语言描述一份职业的相关信息，提升学生的语言综合运用能力，学生明白每项职业的社会贡献，树立正确的职业观。（迁移创新）

设计意图：本阶段学习活动旨在帮学生在语境中理解学习内容，学习核心词汇和核心语言。学生在教师的指导下看图预测对话内容，在跟读模仿中模仿正确的语音语调，内化语言，为语言输出奠定基础。
