定义：定语从句是在复合句中修饰名词或代词的从句。
定语从句的构成：先行词（被修饰的名词或代词）+ 关系词（引导定语从句的词）+ 从句
关系词分为关系代词（that, which, who, whom, whose）和关系副词（when, where, why）。
关 系 代词 先行词 成分 主语 宾语 例句
人 主语 who whom The man who is standing there is my teacher.
物 which That That、which可省略 如：The house which / that was built last year is very beautiful.
......的 定语 whose The boy whose father is a doctor studies very hard.
关系副词：
1. when 表示时间，在从句中作时间状语。
如：I still remember the day when we met for the first time.
2. where 表示地点，在从句中作地点状语。
如：This is the place where we had a picnic last week.
3. why 表示原因，在从句中作原因状语。
如：The reason why he was late is that he got up late.
