World Tai Chi and Qigong Day is an event held on the last Saturday of April each year, which spurs（促进）the progress of Tai Chi and Qigong. Especially, followers of Tai Chi and Qigong hope to educate the world about the health benefits of the two exercises. The Chinese pingfeng (folding screen)is an ancient invention and traditional Chinese furniture（家具）. Its earliest common use dates from the Han Dynasty. The term pingfeng means protection from wind, showing its purpose at the very beginning.
