Day 1
The color of the soil looks darker because I water it. In the center of the pot , I can see a little sprout that grows from the potato. I'll call it Buddy. Buddy is green and yellow. I wonder how fast it will grow.
Day 6
Without much change in the past six days, I finally see some new progress on Buddy as it grows taller. I’m excited to see new life like this. I hope Buddy can grow faster.
Day 11
Buddy is getting larger! Three more new sprouts grow around Buddy! Green leaves grow on the new sprouts, but they have not fully grown yet. I guess I need to be a bit more patient.

I’m writing to apply for the interpreter. My reasons are as follows.
First, let me introduce myself. I am a Grade 8 student. My favourite subject is Biology. I am interested in different kinds of plants, birds and animals.
Next, I’ve known some facts about Yangcheng Nature Reserve. It is in Jiangsu Province in East China. It covers an area of over 4530 square kilometres. It is the second largest home to red-crowned cranes. It became one of the most important wetlands in 2002.
At last, I will learn more things about Yangcheng Nature Reserve in order to be an interpreter.
