直接引语和间接引语
直接引语:直接引述别人的话(句子中有“”)。
间接引语:用自己的话转述别人的话,叫“间接引语”
(教学说明:可以先用中文说明,比如对学生说你们让我上课很开心(直接引语);回去小朋友转述给妈妈听,我们让Apple老师上课很开心(间接引语),
Apple said, “You made me enjoy myself in class.”
直接引语
Apple said that we made her enjoy herself in class.
间接引语—宾语从句
变化规则:(教学说明:可以使用最后的EX.作为以下三条规则讲解的例子,分层讲解)
连词
若直接引语引号里的内容是陈述句,间接引语用连词that
若直接引语引号里的内容是一般疑问句,间接引语用连词if / whether
若直接引语引号里的内容是特殊疑问句,间接引语用连词wh- / how即特殊疑问词本身
从句人称的变化:遵循“一主、二宾、三不变的原则”。
① 直接引语的主语是第一人称变为间接引语时要和主句的主语保持一致。
e.g. He says, “I will go there by air.” → He says he will go there by air.
② 如果直接引语的主语是第二人称变为间接引语时要与主句的宾语保持一致。
e.g. Mary says, “You need to change the clothes.” → Mary says I need to change the clothes.
③ 如果直接引语的主语是第三人称变为间接引语时,人称不变。
e.g. Lily says, “The boss is coming.” → Lily says the boss was coming.
EX. 将下列直接引语改写成间接引语:
They said, “We will go there by bus.”
→ They said that they would go there by bus.
She said to me, “Are you interested in science ”
→ She asked me if I was interested in science.
His mother said to me, “What are you doing ”
→ His mother asked me what I was doing.
注:直接引语如果是客观事实或真理,变为间接引语时,从句时态不变。

is losing 用现在进行时 [be doing] 表示不断重复的动作,是一种英语的修辞方法,常含有埋怨的意思;lose-lost-lost v. 丢失 ; loss n. 损失 ;
days可以指“时期,时代”,如in his boyhood days(在他的童年时代)。these days指“现今”用进行时态取代一般现在时, 在英文是一种修辞方法, 表示不满, 一种感情。
He started to complain about this wicked world but was interrupted by a knock at the door.
他开始抱怨起这个邪恶的世道来,却被一阵敲门声打断了。
