Picture this: You wake up in the morning. A soft light (灯光) turns on in your room. You go into the bathroom and the shower starts. The water is warm. After your shower, you go into the kitchen. Your favorite breakfast is already on the table. How is all this possible Welcome to your future house.
Our houses in the future will be “smart”. Appliances will be able to talk with each other—and with you. For example, your refrigerator (冰箱) will know what you have in it and tell you what dishes you can make with the food. When you need more food, your refrigerator will tell you to buy it. This will be possible thanks to information-storing tools (工具) called RFID chips. They can store the information about all the food in your refrigerator.
Our future houses will also be able to “think”. If you are tired of the color of your walls, you won’t have to paint them again. The walls will be able to change colors because of a special kind of technology (科技)—OLED. In fact, OLED walls will be screens. A computer will join the walls and the other things, and this computer will “rule” your house. Your house will learn about your likes and dislikes. It will then use that message to run the environment. It will also darken the windows at night and lighten them when it’s time to wake up. What do you think of our future houses

Life in the 22nd Century
Hello, everyone! Today I would like to talk about life in the 22nd century.
The population is growing fast. There will be more and more people in the world. What’s more, most of them will live longer than now. Maybe people can live to be 120 years old. Moreover, people will work fewer hours than they do now, and they will have more free time for sports, watching TV and traveling. Many people will go to other countries for holidays. At last, work in the future will be different, too. Lots of dangerous and hard work will be done by robots. For this reason, many people will not have enough work to do. This will be a problem.
All in all, life in the future will change a lot. I hope we our life will be better and better.
Thanks for your listening.
