What is a natural disaster
A natural disasters is a catastrophic event that is caused by nature or the natural processes of the earth.
The severity of a disaster is measured in lives lost, economic loss, and the ability of the population to rebuild.

Good morning. It's 17th April. A strong hit Ecuador yesterday. The 7.8 magnitude earthquake many buildings and early reports said that about 230 people were killed and more than 1500 were injured, and rescue workers are helping the .

Good morning. Today is 15th May. A huge earthquake hit Wen chuan China yesterday. It has killed at least 8500 people by now. The earthquake measured 7.8 on the Richter scale. Injured survivors have been moved to safe place and rescue workers including medical workers, troops and volunteers, who organized quickly.
