A British boy has become one of the youngest people to sail alone across the Atlantic Ocean. Seb Clover has a fantastic and exciting hobby—sailing. He sailed his 9.8 metre long boat 5,000 km from Tenerife to Antigua.

英语是一种结构型的语言,动词在句型构成中起着重要作用。现在对已经学过的几种基本句型总结如下:

系动词本身具有词义,后面需跟表语,构成系表结构,说明主语的状况、性质、特征等。表语通常由名词、形容词、副词、介词短语、动词不定式(短语)、动名词(短语)来充当。此句型中常见的系动词有be,become,turn,get,seem,keep,smell,taste,feel,sound,look 等。
e.g. The cake smells good. 蛋糕闻起来很香。
