课标关于 本单元的 教学要求 主题: 本单元围绕 “庆祝生日” 这一主题展开。该主题与课标要求的“人与自我”主题中的 “丰富的生活、自我认识、理性消费” 子主题以及 “人与社会” 主题中的 “人际交往”子主题密切相关。 在学习本单元的过程中,学生将和同学、朋友交流与生日有关的话题,彼此询问对方的年龄和生日日期,讨论自己过生日进行的活动,以增进对彼此的了解,加强与家人、朋友的情感纽带。还能够了解世界不同地区人们庆祝生日的方式,深入探究过生日的意义,了解更多有意义的庆祝生日的方式。
课标、教参关于本课中的要求及建议 要求: 1.通过阅读拓展文章,赏析文章的语言特征,提升思维的逻辑性与深刻性。 2.能够通过阅读文章,获取大意,理清文章结构,推测生词含义,理解长难句,获取一些语言知识。 建议: 1.教师指导学生快速、准确获取文章大意,借助可视化工具将语言知识结构化,并结合上下文准确理解生词及长难句含义。 2.学生在小组讨论当中,积极发表自己的看法,做到表达准确、逻辑条理,产生思维的碰撞。
本课 教学 目标 1.能够通过阅读文章,获取大意,理清文章结构和内容,推测生词含义,积累相关短语、句型结构等。 2.能够通过阅读拓展文章,了解文章的结构框架,赏析语言特征,通过预测、略读、扫读等阅读技巧的体验,促进阅读能力的提升; 3.能够通过结合自身实际情况,为自己的朋友或家人写一封生日贺卡。

Step 1. Lead-in. Free talk. Students will discuss these questions: 1.What gifts did you receive on your birthdays before stationery, electronic products, sports goods, … 2.Suppose your mum and friends will have birthdays. What gifts will you give them 3.Will you give a birthday card to your mum or friend If yes, what will you write on it Step 2. Reading. 1.Pre-reading Look at the pictures. 1.What are these They are all birthday cards. 2.Who are these birthday cards for From a dad to his son. From Tina to her best friend Penny. From Amy to her mum. 2.While-reading 1. Read the father’s birthday card and answer the questions. (1) In the father’s eyes, what does birthday mean to his son It means growing up. (2) What does the father mean by “drive me up the wall” It means “make me angry of feel bad.” (3) Why does the father say he wouldn’t change a thing about his son Because he loves his son so much. (4) What’s the son like He is a happy and lively boy, maybe a little naughty. (5) What do you think of the father He maybe patient, full of love, and care for his son. 2.Read the Tina’s birthday card and answer the questions. (1) What kind of person is Tina’s friend She is often happy and doesn’t worry much about things. (2) How do you understand the following sentences You’re everything I want in a friend. Whenever Penny feels bad or sad. Tina will help her, cheer her up, and make her happy again. 3.Read a daughter’s birthday card and answer the questions. How does Amy describe her mother She is beautiful and kind, who loves and takes care of Amy every day. 3.Post-reading (1) Discussion Discuss with their group members to understand better. It's a traditional and thoughtful way to celebrate one's birthday. It's a way to express people's wishes, good feelings, and appreciation for the person on his or her birthday. Birthday cards also carry beautiful memories to let the person feel special and loved. (2) Analyze the structure How do we usually write a birthday card greeting: To…/ Dear …/ My … the feeling: It’s happy to … show thanks: Thank you for … body description and praise Sometimes you … You laugh all the time … You bring joy to … show love and cares: Love you. (3) Write Dear dad, You are my hero, my role model, and the man I always look up to and dream to become. Thank you for always being there for me! I know what love is from you. Happy birthday, Dad! Your son, James Step 4. Summary Guide Ss to have a conclusion about the knowledge they’ve learned. Step 5. Homework Recite the new words and expressions.
