教学设计 Step 1 Lead in (3’) Activity 1 Show Ss the picture of cookware and ask the questions: What is it called in English It is called frying pan Have you ever used this kind of cooker What is used for Yes/No. It is for frying chips. Activity 2 Read the learning goal: Get familiar and speak out the words and phrase of kinds of different cookware correctly. 2. Suppose you’re Mike and chef, you are talking about the usages of frying pan with some pictures. 设计目的:Lead in the new lesson with pictures to arouse students' interest and clear the main task of this lesson. Step 2 Preparation (2ms') Activity 1 Brainstorm Ask the questions : What cook wares do you often use in western kitchen frying pan, sauce pan, braising pan, stockpot, sugar pan, grill pan, crepe pan, sauté pan. 2. Do you know what these cook wares are called in English No, not at all. 设计目的:To broaden students' thinking and develop divergent thinking abilities. Step 3 Presentation (20ms') Part one Lead in Activity 1 Look and match. Present Ss some pictures of the cook wares and ask them to match the English name with the right picture. 设计目的:Let the students know what they are going to learn in this lesson and concentrate on the English names of the different cookware. Activity 2 Decide true of false. Make the students read these sentences and decide true or false by themselves, and discuss the reasons for the conclusion. (T)1. Frying pan is used to fry meat, fish, eggs, and etc. (F)2. We use sauce pan to cook meat, fish, etc. (T)3. The trainee can braise beef in a braising pan. (F)4.
