教学内容分析 本课选自《西餐英语》第二单元《Kitchen Facilities》。本单元内容主要是学习并了解厨房设备,引导学生熟悉设备名称并能简要描述其用途,能够在工作中运用恰当准确的语言沟通合作。依据教学大纲和课程任务,本单元共有3个任务,分别是Lead in(导入), Focus on learning(聚焦学习)和Give if off(知识拓展),授课学时5节。 本课是第二单元的起始课,通过学习烤箱、扒炉、明火焗炉、洗碗机等设备名称,让学生初步了解并掌握常见厨房设备的单词和词组,进一步明确本单元的学习内容和目标。在教学过程中,教师可以采用词汇头脑风暴激发学生的学习兴趣,利用游戏、情境创设等方法帮助学生掌握所学词汇。
教学目标 知识目标 1.Learn and get familiar with the words of kitchen facilities, such as: oven, gas stove, grill, microwave,salamander, steamer, dish washer, deep fryer etc. 2. Learn and read the simple sentences describing the usages of kitchen facilities, such as gas stove is a machine to cook food.
能力目标 Tell the names of kitchen facilities correctly and answer the questions freely: What do you call this machine in English Use the suitable words and patterns to describe the basic usages of kitchen facilities briefly.
素养目标 Students will recognize the necessity of getting familiar with kitchen facilities.
教学重点 Speak out the words and phrases of of kitchen facilities, such as: oven, gas stove, grill, microwave,salamander, steamer, dish washer, deep fryer etc.

教学设计 Step 1 Lead in (5’) Activity 1 Show the Ss the picture of kitchen and make the Ss tell the names of the kitchen facilities as many as possible. Ask the Ss to have a discussion and make them write out the answers on the Bb. Check the answers and sum up the result of competition. Activity 2 Show the learning goal: Get familiar and speak out the words and phrase of kitchen facilities correctly. 2. Try to describe the basic usages of kitchen facilities briefly. 设计目的:Lead in the new lesson with competition to arose student’s interest and make the Ss be clear about the main task of this lesson. Step 2 Presentation (20m') Part one Lead in Activity 1 Look and match. Present the Ss some pictures of kitchen facilities and ask them to match the English names with the right pictures. Check the answers and make the Ss read the words correctly. 设计目的:Make the Ss be able to learn and read the new words correctly and be ready for more exercises. Activity 2 Decide true of false. Make the students read these sentences and decide true or false by themselves, and then check the answers together. ( T )1. Gas stove is a machine to cook food. ( T )2. Grill is a machine to grill meat. ( T )3. Microwave is a machine to cook food very quickly. ( F )4. Oven is a machine to heat or bake food. 设计目的:Understand the simple sentences describing the usages of some kitchen facilities. Activity 3 Oral practice. Make the Ss ask and answer in pairs. A: What is it B: It is a(an) oven/gas stove/grill/microwave. 设计目的:Practice the students’ ability on oral English. Part Two Focus on learning Activity 1 Read. 1. Show the pictures and make the students learn the new words: salamander, steamer, dish washer, ,deep-fryer. 2. Make the Ss read these words and phrase followed by the recording. 3. Take a lead for the Ss and then make the Ss read these words and phrases by themselves. 4. Show the pictures one by one and make the Ss tell the names in English. 设计目的:To learn the key words and phrases by pictures and get ready for the dialogue. Activity 2 Look and write. Look at the pictures and ask them to put the English names under each pictures. 设计目的:Get familiar with the key words and phrases by writing. Step 3 Practice (15’) Activity 1 Look and match. Show the pictures of kitchen facilities and ask them to match the English names with the right pictures. Activity 2 Translate these words and phrase into Chinese or English. oven 2. salamander 3.gas stove 4.deep-fryer 5. 扒炉 6. 微波炉 7. 蒸汽炉 8. 洗碗机 Activity 3 Oral practice. Make the Ss try to make up some sentences to describe the usages of salamander, steamer, dish washer, deep-fryer. e.g.Deep-fryer is a machine to fry food. 设计目的:Be able to say more sentences to describe the usages and get ready for role-play. Activity 4 Role play Task : Suppose you’re Mike and a chef, you are talking about the kitchen facilities in the kitchen. Encourage the Ss to try to say more sentences according to the picture they choose.
