教学设计 Step 1 Preparation (5’) Ask and answer. When cooking, how do we make the taste of dishes rich and more unique (Add condiments and spices.) What is condiment How many kinds are there (It is a substance that gives food a strong flavor. There’re 5 types of condiments. They are salty, sweet, spicy, pickled condiments, compound sauces and so on.) Can you name some important condiments and spices in western kitchen (sugar, salt, vinegar, thyme, bay leaf, saffron …) 设计目的:Review and lead in the new lesson. Read the learning goal of this lesson: Make dialogues according to the key structures. Summarize the key words and structures of this unit. 设计目的:Make clear the learning goal of this lesson. Step 2 Presentation (20’) Activity 1 Match. Match the pictures with the right phrases. 设计目的:Combine the real scenes in kitchen with English expressions and get Ss to be ready for the next activity.
