教学 内容 分析 本课选自《西餐英语》第五单元《Condiments & Spices》，学生们将学习烹饪原料中的调味品和香料，包括盐、糖、醋等调味品和肉桂、丁香、薄荷、罗勒等香料。本单元的任务是学习与调味料、香料相关的常见单词、词组以及描述用途、使用、分类等表达方法。依据教学大纲和课程任务，本单元共有3个任务单元，分别是Lead in(导入）, Focus on learning（聚焦学习）和 Give if off（知识拓展），采用情景模拟、角色扮演、任务驱动等学习方法学习单词、句型和对话，呈现围绕听、说、读、写展开的授课内容，授课时数5课时。 本课是第五单元的起始课，主要是让学生了解并掌握常见调味品单词和词组以及基本句型。引导学生在掌握单词的基础上模拟真实的工作情境和内容进行对话练习。在教学过程中，教师可以充分利用多媒体教学的优势，同时结合实物教学法，激发学习兴趣，帮助学生掌握相关词汇。

教学设计 Step 1 Lead in (3’) Activity 1 Show students video clip of condiments and ask questions: What is mentioned in the video (Ss may name some in Chinese, such as 盐、糖、醋…) 2. Do you often us it when cooking Yes/ No. Because … Activity 2 Read the learning goal: Get familiar and speak out the words and phrase of condiments correctly. Suppose you are a trainee, and the chef is using pictures to teach you some condiments. 设计目的：Lead in the new lesson with real objects or pictures to arose student’s interest and clear the main task of this lesson. Step 2 Preparation (2’) Activity 1 Look and circle Show Ss a picture of a condiments and spices rack in a real kitchen, ask Ss to circle the condiments and spices they know. Ask the questions: 1.What condiments and spices do you know (Ss may answer in Chinese.) 盐，糖，胡椒… 2. Do you know what are these condiments and spices called in English (Yes. / No.) 设计目的：To broaden students' thinking and develop divergent thinking ability. Step 3 Presentation （20m'） Part 1 Lead in Activity 1 Look and match. Present Ss some pictures of the following condiments and ask them to match the pictures with the English name. 设计目的：Students have a preliminary understanding of the content of this lesson and inspire them to prepare for class. Activity 2 Match. Give students cards with Chinese words "酸的，甜的, 苦的, 辣的，咸的" and English words "sour, sweet, bitter, salty，spicy".
